If you have been following up on MLS matches there is one coming up on June 28th where the LA Galaxy will be facing Colorado Rapids.
LA Galaxy team will be returning home to face the Colorado Rapids team at the StubHub center, Carson, California and this is a match up that promises to be tantalizing!
Galaxy have had a run of winless games, but have slowly begun to return to form, and managed a second successive shutout in their last match.
The Rapids on the other hand, are top of the standings in the conference, and remain undefeated, with a great winning streak seeing them move points clear at the top of the table.
Whilst the stats might all be pointing to a Rapids victory, it's too early to say how the game will proceed. Tickets are still available here for fans who want to see the action unfold themselves!
LA Galaxy will surely have an advantage from playing at home but it remains to be seen how well they can utilize having the fans on their side! This will be a great chance for them to use their home ground advantage and try and score goals at least which has been the one thing holding them back so far this season.
Meanwhile, the Rapids have had a good streak of wins till date. They have achieved a club record of ten matches which have started from April.
Most recently, they were able to defeat Chicago Fire 2-1, with the winning goal being scored in the 89th minute - some might call that Championship-winning form, with their never-say-die attitude helping them get past their toughest opponents at the last.
LA and the Rapids have met once before this season, in March at the Sporting Goods Park at Dick’s where Rapids won by one goal. The Rapids last won at the Stubhub three years back, in 2013. The Galaxy team had last won in a game at this venue in 2014, and they drew last year.
